Present-day Slavic peoples are classified into East Slavs (chiefly Belarusians, Russians, Rusyns, and Ukrainians), West Slavs (chiefly Czechs, Kashubs, Poles, Silesians, Slovaks and Sorbs), and South Slavs (chiefly Bosniaks, Bulgarians, Croats, Macedonians, Montenegrins, Serbs and Slovenes)
The archeological excavations have been interpreted to indicate that our Slavic ancestors possessed a very high culture. They were peace-loving people, dedicated to their soil, since agriculture was their main occupation. Some of the nomadic tribes, like the Scythians, Sarmathian Croats and Turkish Bulgarians, accepted the Slav culture and became assimilated by them, while retaining their tribal names.
The ancient Slavs were wise, sovereign, responsible, healthy, sensetive and alert.
We are aiming at retrieving these attributes through broadening the knowledge, strengthening our faith and espacially raising consciousness.
We are the people of the east, traditionally free, spiritual and wise, peace-loving, dedicated to the environment, social and culturally advanced.
